Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist
Luis A. Centeno-Gándara is a psychiatrist and psychodynamic-integrative psychotherapist. He is an Assistant Professor and Research Fellow at the Department of Psychiatry in the University Hospital “Dr. José Eleuterio González”, in Mexico.
Dr. Centeno-Gándara received his MD from the University of Guadalajara and his Psychiatry training at the University Hospital “Dr. José Eleuterio González”. During his period as a psychiatry resident, he developed a strong interest in personality disorders and psychotherapy.
Dr. Giada Pietrabissa
Professor in Clinical Psychology
Dr. Giada Pietrabissa Ph.D. and Psy.D. is Professor in Clinical Psychology for the Faculty of Psychology of the Catholic University of Milan. She also works as research-psychologist in the Clinical Psychology Laboratory of the San Luca Hospital, IRCCS Istituto Auxologico Italiano, Milan, Italy.
She is experienced in using a variety of therapeutic approaches including Brief Strategic Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Schema-Focused Therapy. She published many research studies in high-impact journals in the field of clinicalal psychology and psychotherapy, eHealth and mHealth interventions for the rehabilitation and treatment of patients with the chronic condition including obesity, eating disorders, and cardiovascular disease.
She is a member of the COST Action European Network on Individualized Psychotherapy Treatment of Young People with Mental Disorders founded by the European Commission, of the International Academy of Body Image, Eating Problems and Health, and of the Italian Society for the Study of Eating Disorders (SISDCA).

Dr. Claudette Portelli
Clinical Psychologist & Psychotherapist
Dr. Claudette is a Clinical Psychologist, Psychotherapist and clinical researcher. Dr. Portelli lecturers at Dublin City University in Social, Emotional and Behavioural Pathologies. She is a clinical lecturer at the Strategic Therapy Centre’s Post Graduate School of Psychotherapy where she also works as a clinical trainer and senior researcher associate.
Claudette is a Scientific Member of the Editorial Board of the Brief Strategic and Systemic Therapy European Review and was an original contributor to the evolution of the BST model of Treatment for OCD as well as co-author, with Professor Nardone of the highly acclaimed book “Knowing Through Changing’’.
Giorgio Nardone
Psychotherapist
Giorgio Nardone is the Director of the Post Graduate School of Brief Strategic Psychotherapy, in Arezzo, Italy and of the School of Managerial Training in Communication and Strategic Problem Solving, located in Arezzo and also in Florence, Italy.
He is the co-founder, along with Paul Watzlawick, of the Centro di Terapia Strategica where he works as a psychotherapist, professor, and researcher. He has authored and co-authored close to 30 publications. Many of his books have been translated from Italian into English, Spanish, French, Russian, and Japanese.
